Ideal for filtration purposes, reticulated polyurethane foam provides low flow restriction due to removal of dodecahedron cell membranes while maintaining intact structure with remaining wall struts.
Cells can be removed through quenching (chemical etching) or thermal reticulation. Reticulation is available on ether, ester and polymer polyol polyurethane foams.
The removal of cells and retention of struts creates a different path for air and dust to pass through, creating a material that is excellent for trapping dust particles.
